HIDDEN CAMERA

We got a camera that we can leave down at the land to see what is going on when we are not there. The first week we put it out there we did not get any pictures. This week when we looked at it we had 124 pictures. Below are some of the critters that were captured on film......

This is the famous "Deer in the headlights"

These cute little critters, Ha! Ha! enjoyed it so much they stayed around for a couple of hours and then came back again later.

These two are way better..a rabbit and a racoon...Can't wait to see what we get this week.

WE'RE IN THE HAY!!!!!!!

We drove down to check out the land today and had a big surprise. The man that we had talked to like 4 months ago finally came thru. He had told us he wanted to wait till the grass (hay) was high enough to cut, but I guess being city folks, we were very impatient.

This is Kelly riding the 4-wheeler thru the hay....

Riley really likes it now that the grass is cut...

This is hay up close....

A view from the front gate....

This is by Joe's deer feeder, I think its deer poo......

This is Joe's salt block...something has been eating on it.

I have way to many pictures to put on here, so just ask me sometime and I will show you.

I guess you can now say Kelly and I are officially Hay farmers now....HA HA

Long time no post......

Its been awhile, I know, but there never seems to be enough time to sit down and blog.........
We did get to go to CT over the memorial day weekend, and spend time with both of our married children. Below are a couple of pictures taken on our day in New York......we had a wonderful time

This picture was taken at a park and board walk not far from Amanda's work. I don't think there is a place around there that is not beautiful. Amanda says she loves it up there, I can understand why. You don't see anything like it in Texas.

After we got back from CT, we went to do some work and on our property in Como, TX....We really like it out there...it is so peaceful and just a great place to get away....I will take some pictures this weekend and post them so everyone can see...
