Where does the time go?

It doesn't seem like it has been very long, but I guess it has. Been really busy, went to spend two weeks with Amanda, Josh and little Adah. It was the hardest thing in the world to leave. I don't think the people at the Monterey airport knew what to think with both Kelly and I sitting there crying. If you have looked at Amanda's blog you have seen all the pictures I have, below is my favorite and the one I have on my phone.

We miss you Adah and love you so much!

We have started working on things at the land again, Kelly and I worked on getting the field mowed, our goal is to keep it down. It takes us about 17 hours to mow the whole thing. Hopefully if we keep it low it won't take that long next time. Below are the pictures of mowing.

This is when we were almost done, if you look out by the trees the grass is still high.

While mowing, Kelly must have hit a snake and killed it. Not real sure, but think it was just a grass snake or something like that. It was about 3 to 4 ft long. When we are mowing the birds come from everywhere circling around the field just waiting for you to kill or scare something out of the high grass. Needless to say they were all over that snake, these are just a few.

We got up one morning and looked out the door and this deer was looking back at us. It was so neat, she was really close and just stood there, till Riley saw her and started chasing her. Even after she chased her to the back of the property she stayed around there for a while. We know they are there, but I think they know when hunting season is and hide.

This is her running from Riley.

I don't have much else right now, we started a pole barn this past weekend, it is way to hot to be doing this now. I am really a nice person when I am hot, tired and hurting. Ask Kelly he loves working with me. I always have a smile on my face. But, hey Kelly is no angel either. I didn't take any pictures of what we have done on this yet, maybe this weekend I will try to get some. Or maybe one of me enjoying helping Kelly in the 100 degree heat. Ha Ha!!!!

I want to wish Justin and Lindsay good luck as they head off on their run in Seattle. I will be watching to see them as they make it across the finish line. Glad they are going to Seattle and not trying to run here in this heat. I will try to update more often.
Take care love ya'll
